More and more videos are being produced and used in the academic environment. For recording videos, Switch provides the well-known Switch Cast service. With the new Switch Tube video platform, we offer universities a central archive for both self-produced and purchased videos and, at the same time, a playback platform that always delivers content compatible with the viewer’s device. 

With Switch Tube, every university can offer its members its own video platform with a wide range of channels organised by topic. Depending on their intended use, videos can be made available for a small group, for all members of your university, for anyone with an AAI login or even for the general public. Only videos intended for the current user group are visible on the video platform. Switch Tube’s simple and streamlined user interface allows you to view, upload and share videos as well as attach additional documents. Videos can be uploaded from all recording sources.
